In the past 20 years, Roman has been experimenting with different grape varieties, due to the fact that it is not easy to grow grapes in tropical climates because of the amount of rain and humidity that comes with them.
The most common wine grapes grow in latitudes with four seasons. Unfortunately, they don’t grow well in tropical climates, unless sprayed with lots of pesticidas.
Throughout all this time, they chose two varieties that have adapted to the tropical elements without the need of chemicals. With these varieties, Roman is on his way to producing a good bottle of wine in a couple of years. |
